Holiday Guide for 2017 Outings!

Song: Whip It by DEVO

Wow and just like that Thanksgiving is....gone. At least our leftovers are still spread around the kitchen or our food is already in containers to be taken home (;

Now that we are all in the Christmas spirit (high-key I have been in Christmas spirit since September- just saying) the planning to celebrate this holiday has officially commenced! Since I am always out and about the holiday outings things that DC has to offer for the season, I decided to share a few fun activities to do with friends and family this year! let me know if you like this guide.

1.  Miracle bar at 14th st

Now this place literally opened up today! So.......RUN! as fast as you can!!!! it literally screams CHRISTMAS! The decor for this bar is top-notch and as Christmas-sy as it can be, as well as their drinks. So go out and celebrate Christmas with some other strangers that appreciate the festivities over a drink or two.

2. Artechouse

Now I have been on the bandwagon to this art center since their exhibition "Spirit of Autumn", and although their prices are bit high it's definitely worth the visit. This immersive, sensory art experience is something I will alwaysrecommend, especially if you smoke the good good tomake the experience a bit better (; #hinthint #nothigh
I just went to the "Kingdom of Colors" and the "Imaginary World of The Nutcracker" will be opening up on December 7th.

3. DC Santa Crawl

This is my first year doing this! and I can't contain my excitement! I cant recommend it because I haven't experienced it but will def give feedback very soon. If you don't mind paying a $15 entrance fee (this fee gives you access to the bars and to low-rate drinks) give it a try!
tip: make it a group activity

4.  Zoo light
Romantic date idea: take her/him to see animals with pretty light everywhere, ta-da!
if your girl/guy doesn't like the animals?!?!.....ummm....no comment...
The experience at the Smithsonian National Zoo Lights is a memory that you will never ever forget. They also have very yummy Christmas drinks and its free to enter!

6. Ice skating

You will for sure find me pulling one of my friends into an ice-skating rink every weekend, but its ok bc #friendshipgoals #alsobecauseimanawesomeskater #imjustsayin. I have been to most of the well-know ice-skating rinks, here are my favorites:
- National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden
- Pentagon City
- Washington Harbor Georgetown
- National Harbor
- Canal Park
- Wharf

7. National Christmas Tree Lighting

Most important one on this whole list. I love going to this special event because it's like a mini DC reunion with all our local Washingtonians. It is not the prettiest tree lighting (aka not like the Rockefeller one), but it will do to create memories with your loved one.
